Altazimuth photoelectric theodolite level shaft U-type and T-type structure  but with the expanding field of applications of photoelectric theodolite  the horizontal shaft structure occur great changes. For example  in the marine environment  shipboard conditions  the instrument has a waterproof  corrosion-resistant  easy maintenance and other functions  while carrier-based optoelectronic devices from a single visible television configure the development of integrated infrared system and ranging system as one of the single-station measurement system  due to the spherical structure has sufficient internal space exactly adapted to this need. In this paper  the horizontal axis of a spherical four-way structure. From aspects of the spherical four-way split in the form and shafting design and finite element analysis of the detailed design. A spherical four-way horizontal axis system  diameter 550mm  weight 19kg sphere  in the 40kg load  the maximum deformation of 3.3m  fully meet the requirements. The shaft of the structure of the shaking is less than 2 arc seconds  the vibration test  the re-examination instrument accuracy change is less than 1 arc seconds. One of the effective method of improving diamond tool life on rulling large diffraction gratings is developing precise double-cone edged on line edge transfering tool. But traditional died weight or manual lapping technique couldn't meet the precision requirement of on line edge transfering tool. So preliminary studied rigid lapping of diamond grating ruling tool. Choosing traditional BC6063 shaping machine and made a series of alteration on it  achieved the automation of lapping process of diamond grating ruling tool. Through lapping grating ruling tool and AFM measurement find that the surface roughness of tool is 1.51nm  the radius of tool edge is 160nm  edge quality is good enough  this verified the feasibility of rigid lapping of diamond grating ruling tool and lay the foundation for developing precision lapping machine. Today aircraft attitude measurement technology plays an important role in an aircraft system because it can provide orientation for aircraft in action. Lately star sensor technology used in aircraft attitude measurement has become more and more popular because of its high accuracy  light weight  without attitude accumulation errors and other advantages. There are three main steps for star sensor to measure aircraft attitude  star image locating  star identification and attitude tracking. The latter two steps are based on the accuracy of star image locating. So it's critical to make efforts to advance the accuracy of star image locating. Some imaging errors  such as spherical aberration or coma aberration  also have negative effect on the accuracy of star image locating  of which the effect is necessarily reduced as well. At the beginning of this article  the structure of star sensor hardware is introduced. Secondly three methods for star image locating are described specifically  which are traditional centroid method  Gauss quadric fitting method and improved Gauss quadric fitting method. Subsequently an imaging calibration method is described for the purpose of reducing the effect of imaging errors. Finally the experiment shows that the accuracy of the star sensor is 2-arc-second. 2010 SPIE.

Nowadays star sensor technology used in aircraft attitude measurement has become more and more popular for its high precision  light weight  without attitude accumulation errors and other advantages. In order to enhance the accuracy of star sensor  it is critical to make efforts to promote the precision of star image locating. High precision star image locating method mentioned in this article includes two aspects. One is sub-pixel dividing algorithm used to acquire the coordinate of stars. The other one is imaging calibration method used to weaken the effect caused by imaging distortion. This method is finally realized in some type of star sensor system. Then an experiment is designed to verify the precision of the method. The result of the experiment shows that the precision of the method is 2" in the experimental environment. 2010 IEEE.

In computer graphics  animated models are widely used to represent time-varying data. In this paper  we propose an improved method to generate multiresolution animation models. We use a curvature sensitive quadric error metric (QEM) criterion as our basic measurement  which can preserve local features on the surface. We append a deformation weight to the aggregated edge contraction cost for the whole animation to preserve areas with large deformation. At last  we introduce a mesh optimization method to deal with the animation sequence  which can efficiently improve the temporal coherence and reduce visual artifacts. The results show our approach is efficient  easy to implement  and good quality progressive animation models can be generated at any level of detail. 2009 IEEE.
