The traditional Hausdorff measure, which uses Euclidean distance metric (L2 norm) to define the distance between coordinates of any two points, has poor performance in the presence of the rotation and scale change although it is robust to the noise and occlusion. To address the problem, we define a novel similarity function including two parts in this paper. The first part is Hausdorff distance between shapes which is calculated by exploiting shape context that is rotation and scale invariant as the distance metric. The second part is the cost of matching between centroids. Unlike the traditional method, we use the centroid as reference point to obtain its shape context that embodies global information of the shape. Experiment results demonstrate that the function value between shapes is rotation and scale invariant and the matching accuracy of our algorithm is higher than that of previously proposed algorithm on the MEPG-7 database.

The high resolving power camera was often used to improve the precision of measuring system although its price is high
because the accuracy of image measure was limited by the pixel resolving ability of camera. A method of one dimension gray level quadrature sub-pixel to detect edge was presented. This method was applied to measure the displacement of measuring head on 3-coordinate measuring machine. The data of test was shown that this system can distinguish displacement 0.001mm. it is higher accuracy than pixel level. So this method is convenient and fast
fit to track and measure the moving object. It is obvious that this method can save the cost of hardware.

Computer-generated holograms (CGH) have been widely used for years in optical testing of aspheric surfaces in combination with Fizeau interferometers. With the development of diffraction optics
computer technology
and micro-processing technology
the accuracy of the CGH testing can achieve a hundredth of a wave
and the cost is reduced greatly. CGH is capable of producing an optical wavefront with any desired shape. So it is fascinating and will have good prospects to test free-form surfaces using CGH. As the CGH can create any wavefront shape
it can also be used in unsymmetrical aspherical surfaces testing. Taking the cubic surface as an example
this paper gives a method to test unsymmetrical surfaces. This paper gives the design to test a cubic surface. And the separation of the diffraction orders and the binary process of the continuous CGH phase function are discussed in detail. The alignment tolerance of the test system and the CGH fabrication tolerance are analyzed. We also present an idea using a CGH and two spherical lenses as null lens to test the cubic surface when the surface deviation is great. 2011 IEEE.

The solar irradiance monitor (SIM)
with the design accuracy of 5
used to monitor the secular changes of the total solar irradiance on FY-3 satellite
takes the sun-scanning measurement method on-orbit. Compared to the sun-tracking measurement method
this method simplifies the structure and cuts the cost
but the measuring accuracy is affected by the sun-synchronous orbit
sunlight incidence angle and the installing angle of the SIM in the satellite. Through the ground calibration experiment
studies on the affection of different sunlight incidence angles to the measurement accuracy. First
by the satellite tool kit (STK) simulation software
simulates the orbital parameters of the sun-synchronous satellite
and calculates the Sun ascension and declination at any time. By the orbit coordinate transformation matrix gets the components of the Sun vectors to the axes of the satellite
and base on the components designs the field of view and the installing angles of the SIM. Then
designs and completes the calibration experiment to calibrate the affection of the incidence angles. Selecting 11 different angles between the sunlight and the satellite X-axis
measures the total solar irradiance by the SIM at each angle
and compares to the irradiances of the SIAR reference radiometers
and gets the coefficient curves of the three channels of the SIM. Finally
by the quadratic fitting
gets the correction equations on the incidence angles: R 1=5.7110-52 -2.45310 -3+1.0302
R2=2.8410-5-1. 96510-3+1.0314 and R3 =1.7210 -52-4.18410-4+0.9946. The equations will aimprove the on-orbit measurement accuracy of the solar irradiance
and are very important to the on-orbit data processing after the satellite launched. 2011 SPIE.

While the high-precision simulation is widely used in science and technology
Design of Experiment (DOE) based on Response Surface (RS) method can be employed in surrogate model to reduce the cost and error. In order to illustrate the relationship between parameters and response features
several DOE methods and Response Surface (RS) method are studied. The author used polynomial regression and RBF neural network based on orthogonal array to build a rocket aerodynamic discipline surrogate model respectively which proved their feasibility. From the results of the test case
conclusion is drawn that characteristic as well as acclimatization of DOE methods and different approximation should be considered for different issues

In the field of remote sensing imaging
TDICCD remote sensing images have a lot of their own characteristics
such as high-resolution
large amount of information
less overlapping parts of pixels
additional image blurring etc. Therefore
there exist many difficulties
especially in terms of high-accuracy registration of pairs of images. For that
this paper presents two new pixel interpolation method for sub-pixel level registering images that allows for scaling
translation and rotation. The proposed technique
which is based on the maximization of the correlation coefficient function
combines an efficient pixel-moving interpolation scheme with surface fitting
which greatly reduces the overall computational cost. The accuracy of the algorithm is evaluated by calculating correlation coefficient of couples of points belonging to images transformed with preset factors and also comparing it to other sorts of methods. The experiment results show that the accuracy of registration reaches 0.01 pixels. 2010 IEEE.

In order to predict the cost
a model of cost prediction was set up based on adaptive hierarchical genetic algorithm and RBF neural network. Hierarchical genetic algorithm could optimize the topology and the parameters simultaneously. Compared with simple genetic algorithm
it has more efficiency in not only accelerating and stabilizing the parameters training but also determining the structure of the network. Adaptive crossover and mutation probability could accelerate the speed and avoid prematurity. The model was tested by five samples. The results showed that the prediction model has high prediction accuracy
which indicated that it was applicable to predict the cost by the model. 2010 IEEE.

In feature-level fusion recognition system
the other is optimizing system sensor design to get outstanding cost performance. So feature selection become usually necessary to reduce dimensionality of the combination of multi-sensor features and improve system performance in system design. In general
there are two main missions. One is improving the recognition correct rate as soon as possible
the optimization is usually applied to feature selection because of its computational feasibility and validity. For further improving recognition accuracy and reducing selected feature dimensions
this paper presents a more rational and accurate optimization
Bidirectional Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BBPSO) algorithm for feature selection in feature-level fusion target recognition system. In addition
we introduce a new evaluating function as criterion function in BBPSO feature selection method. At the last
we utilized Leave-One-Out method to validate the proposed method. The experiment results show that the proposed algorithm improves classification accuracy by two percentage points
while the selected feature dimensions are less one dimension than original Particle Swarm Optimization approach with 16 original feature dimensions. 2009 IEEE.

Linear fiber-optic image slicer is used more and more in spatial exploration and imaging system. In this paper
a plane arranging method of fiber-optic array based on Si-V grooves is established in order to improve the accuracy and reduce the cost of manufacturing. Firstly
the Si-V groove array is micro-machined with anisotropic etching process
then optical fibers are placed in the grooves orderly with plane arranging method. Secondly
the end surfaces of the device are polished
also the linear fiber-optic image slicer is packaged. Finally
some parameters are tested
including structure parameters
transmittivity and vibration test. Experimental results indicate that the maximum error accumulated in 2000 periods of the Si-V grooves is 0.5 m
the error of the height in Si-V grooves is less than 0.15m
the roughness of the end surface is less than 0.9nm. The transmittivity of the linear fiber-optic image slicer that without optical film is 51.46% at the wavelength of 632.8nm. After random vibration experiment
the ratio of the broken fiber increased by 0.1%. While the temperature reached 320C
the stress of epoxy will be 130Mpa
which is close to the limit resistance stress of 139Mpa
some cracks appeared.
