Atmospheric path radiance is the key factor in the accuracy of objective radiation measurement. In the traditional radiation character measurements
it is compared with the results of MODTRAN and measurement in experiment. It is revealed that the accuracy of software is 7.8%
under the help of the atmospheric observation equipment
and the formula is 4.9%
MODTRAN and other software likewise
which could demonstrate the validity of the pproximate calculation formula in close range and horizontal direction. In this article
the indeterminacy rate could be around 10~20%

An extended high gain state and perturbation observer combined with feedback linearization was applied in drag tracking for Mars entry longitudinal guidance. The observer estimates the drag

The traditional Hausdorff measure, which uses Euclidean distance metric (L2 norm) to define the distance between coordinates of any two points, has poor performance in the presence of the rotation and scale change although it is robust to the noise and occlusion. To address the problem, we define a novel similarity function including two parts in this paper. The first part is Hausdorff distance between shapes which is calculated by exploiting shape context that is rotation and scale invariant as the distance metric. The second part is the cost of matching between centroids. Unlike the traditional method, we use the centroid as reference point to obtain its shape context that embodies global information of the shape. Experiment results demonstrate that the function value between shapes is rotation and scale invariant and the matching accuracy of our algorithm is higher than that of previously proposed algorithm on the MEPG-7 database.

There exist complex gray mapping relationships among infrared and visible images because of the different imaging mechanisms. The difficulty of infrared and visible image registration is to find a reasonable similarity definition. In this paper, we develop a novel image similarity called implicit linesegment similarity(ILS) and a registration algorithm of infrared and visible images based on ILS. Essentially, the algorithm achieves image registration by aligning the corresponding line segment features in two images. First, we extract line segment features and record their coordinate positions in one of the images, and map these line segments into the second image based on the geometric transformation model. Then we iteratively maximize the degree of similarity between the line segment features and correspondence regions in the second image to obtain the model parameters. The advantage of doing this is no need directly measuring the gray similarity between the two images. We adopt a multi-resolution analysis method to calculate the model parameters from coarse to fine on Gaussian scale space. The geometric transformation parameters are finally obtained by the improved Powell algorithm. Comparative experiments demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can effectively achieve the automatic registration for infrared and visible images, and under considerable accuracy it makes a more significant improvement on computational efficiency and anti-noise ability than previously proposed algorithms.

This paper investigates the problem of optimization method for coupling parametrization design of complex space system. The objective is to develop an integrated optimization framework to design complex space system. An improved collaborative optimization (ICO) strategy for complex design using hybrid optimization algorithm is proposed
which associates genetic algorithm (GA) with tabu search (TS). A multi-objective function with penalty terms for the systemlevel optimization and a relax factor for the subsystem optimization are adopted

a mammary gland CR medicine image adaptive enhancement arithmetic based on image gray entropy is put forward. The arithmetic adapts dizzy image to magnify selected spatial frequency response in order to enhance the edge details of mammary gland CR images. It can adjust weighted factor K according to image gray characteristics namely pixel gray entropy. Experiments results demonstrate that mammary gland CR image enhanced by the algorithm has abundant details and high signal-to-noise ratio

Image matching is at the base of many computer vision problems
such as object recognition or image stitching. Standard SIFT provides poor performance when images under viewpoint change conditions and with similar corners. Hence
we propose a matching algorithm combine regional SSDA with simplified SIFT algorithm. We demonstrate through experiments that our algorithm yields better performance in images of viewpoint change and similar feature points. Besides
the simplified algorithm cut down about half the time was originally needed in our tested images. 2012 IEEE.

Electric Field Assisted Capillarity (EFAC) is a novel process which has the potential for the single step fabrication of hollow polymer microstructures. The process has been shown to work experimentally on a microscale level using Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). The process makes use of both the electrohydrodynamics of polymer at a microscale and the voltage enhanced capillary force exerted on the polymer. This paper discusses the results of a two-dimensional numerical simulation of this process. The results presented use a patterned master electrode producing encapsulated microchannels in the polymer. The simulations demonstrate how the differing contact angles between the polymer and the walls of the master electrode affect the thickness of the top surface of the formed microstructures. It also specifies the conditions necessary for the successful fabrication of such microstructures. 2012 IEEE.

The paper presents a simple and fast approach for moving object segmentation based on H.264 compressed domain information for the application of indoor video surveillance with static camera. Due to the characteristics of indoor video surveillance
the proposed method of segmentation avoids complicated background model like Gaussian Mixture background model. On the contrary
it chooses some simple information like the type of Macroblock
etc.. Experimental results of several specific H.264 compressed video sequences demonstrate the good segmentation quality of the proposed approach. 2012 IEEE.
