920 nm optically pumped semiconductor vertical external-cavity surface emitting laser (OPS-VECSEL) has an important application in laser display. We constructed and optimized a 920 nm OPS-VECSEL with active region of In0.09Ga0.91As quantum well (QW) system pumped by 808 nm laser diode module. By the finite element method
self-consistent solutions of the semiconductor electronic and optical equations are realized to calculate the characteristics parameters of OPS-VECSEL. The performances of device especially the mode
the threshold and the optical-optical translation efficiency were analyzed by dealing with different number of QWs (1
2 and 3) in one period

For the purposes of correcting the LED display image
a method based on computer simulation is proposed. First
the development of the LED display panel is introduced. Second
analyze the causes of the problem which image in LED display panel has serious high nonuniformity
and introduce the existed correction techniques which are used to reduce the nonuniformity of LED display image. Simultaneously
point out the ground for shortcomings of these techniques. Third
describe the principle of correction method based on computer simulation detail from two steps
which are the luminous collection and luminous copulation. Forth
describe the realization steps of this method in accordance with the third step. Finally
this method is supplied in a LED display panel
whose resolution is 640480. Experimental results show that this method is able to reduce the non-uniformity of images from 11.06% to 0.98%. (2012) Trans Tech Publications

In order to improve the method of the LED display panel grayscale modulation a method based on computer calculation is proposed. First the development history and trends of the LED display panel are introduced. Second present the structure of the LED display panel and the existed modulation method. Simultaneously point out the ground for shortcomings of the existed method. Third describe the principle modulation method based on computer calculation detail from two steps which are the data signal transformation and the grayscale modulation. Forth describe the realization steps of this method in accordance with the third step. Finally this method is supplied in a LED display panel whose resolution is 320240. Experimental results show that this method is able to increase the grayscale from 14-bit to 16-bit and can enhance the display result of the LED display panel significantly. Layered graphene were synthesized on carbon nanotubes surface by MWCVD method with the pretreatment of carbon nanotube. The field emission propertied of graphene-carbon nanotube complex material emitter. The correction methods of LED displays are aiming to address the uniform issues which includes brightness aspect and color aspect. The correction method use a 33 correction coefficients matrix to reshape the pulse width of each LED. To calculate the correction coefficients
a linear system is established
which includes a color CCD and a LED display. And a correction algorithm is introduced based on the color CCD. This algorithm describes the relationships of the main color components of a LED
when the gray level of a LED is increasing or decreasing
the three main color components would change according to the correction coefficients. The results shows that the correction based on this algorithm improved the performance of LED displays. (2012) Trans Tech Publications

Brightness and color correction system is working for the color uniform problem of LED display. The correction system can improve LED display's quality greatly. The accuracy of the LED system must consider the accuracy requirements of the color correction system. This paper analyze the accuracy requirements from two aspects. One is that the accuracy requirements should consider the chromatic tolerance for the human eyes
the other one is that the accuracy requirements should be associated with the precision of measuring equipment. This paper discuss the accuracy requirement with the CIE1976LUV as a color space to meet the chromatic tolerance of the human eyes
and also give an explanation on how the accuracy of the measuring equipment affect the the correction system. Then this paper give a method to ensure the accuracy requirement for the correction system of a LED display. 2011 IEEE.

A professional DVI-Video optical fiber transceiver was designed based on FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) in order to meet the need of real-time LED display. The system could be used to transmit a non-loss
real-time video source whose resolution was 1024 768 and refresh rate was 60Hz in a single mode optical fiber. The top-down design method was used while programming FPGA. Some module design ideas were discussed including video data acquisition
caching
framing
frame detecting and video reproducing. The required bandwidth of each module was analyzed and calculated in details. Some relevant simulation results were also given. In practical test
real-time video display was achieved. And the transmission rate of coded data was up to 2Gbps
and the transmission distance could reach 10km. 2011 IEEE.

In this paper
we explore novel method of fabricating novel stable alignment layer for liquid crystal display. Large azimuthal anchoring energy and alignment quality comparable to that of rubbed polyimide film is obtained without using a contact process. The poor photostability known for azodye materials is overcome with the additional introduction of photocrosslinking material.
