In order to determination of cholesterol in human serum with no reagent using nearinfrared (NIR) spectroscopy. Interval partial least square (iPLS) was proposed as an effective variable selection approach for multivariate calibration. For this purpose  an independent sample set was employed to evaluate the prediction ability of the resulting model. The spectrum was split into different interval. Then  the informative region of cholesterol (1688-1760nm)  in which the PLS model has a low RMSEP with 0.241mmol/L and a high R with 0.975  is selected with 23 intervals. The results indicate that  the informative region of cholesterol can be obtained by iPLS and applied to design the simpler reagentless NIR instruments for inexpensive cholesterol measurement in future. In ultraviolet spectroscopy  groove irregularity and surface roughness of nanometer magnitude can cause a significant loss of diffraction efficiency. Therefore  there is a constant need to improve the diffraction efficiency. A blazed grating can concentrate most of the light intensity into a desired diffraction order  it is important to control the groove shape precisely  so it is the optimum choice among gratings of different kinds of profile. As the operating wavelength of most UV spectral applications is less than 200 nm  especially the blaze angle and the apical angle. We have presented a direct shaping method to fabricate EUV blazed gratings by using an ion-beam mixture of Ar+ and CHF2 +to etch K9 glass with a rectangular photoresist mask. With this method  the required blaze angle is small  we have succeeded in fabricating well-shaped UV blazed gratings with a 1200 line/mm groove density and 8.54 blaze angles and 1200 line/mm groove density and 11.68 blaze angles  and the metrical efficiency is about 81% and 78%. The good performance of the gratings was verified by diffraction efficiency measurements. When one uses the etching model  the conditions on the ion-beam grazing incident angle and the CHF3partial pressure should be noted. Besides  since the etched groove shape depends on the aspect ratio of the photoresist mask ridge  if we wish to fabricate larger gratings with this method  we must improve the uniformity of the photoresist mask before ion-beam etching. 2011 Copyright Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE).

High precision structural Finite Element Analysis (FEA) results are required in the development of a remote image sensor. HperMesh and MSC. Nastran are employed in the image sensor structural FEA. This paper discusses some technical issues about the Finite Element (FE) modeling of the image sensor. In order to obtain authentic analysis results  the part-to-whole handling schema  i.e. handling method and research work is implemented in a small part of the model firstly and a revised method is used in the whole structural in succession  has been proposed. Some emphasis is mainly put on the FE handling of bolted joint  bearing and inter-element connection. The interface handling methods  such as CBEAM plus partial MPC bolted joint model  hybrid element bearing model and RBE3 beam-to-solid connection  have been produced and successfully implemented in the image sensor structural FEA. 2010 IEEE.

In Video tracking  detection and tracking usually need two algorithms. The process is complex and need much time which detection and tracking are. In this paper a hybrid valued sequential state vector is formulated. The state vector is characterized by information of target appearance flag and of location. Particle filter-based method implements detection and tracking at one time. In order to reduce process time and think of pixel position in tracking field  feature histogram of luminance is as observe vector and used posterior estimate. In this paper  the luminance component is derived and target is recognized and tracked through image processor based on DSP in order to implementing real-time. The experimental results confirm that method can detect and track the object in real-time successfully when the number of particles is 160. The method is robust for rolling  scale and partial occlusion. 2010 IEEE.
