Vision-based human action recognition provides an advanced interface  and research in this field of human action recognition has been actively carried out. This paper describes a scheme for recognizing human actions from a video sequences. The proposed method is an extension of the Motion History Image(MHI) method based on the ordinal measure of accumulated motion  which is robust to variations of appearances. We define the accumulated motion image(AMI) using image differences firstly. Then the AMI of the video sequencesis resized to a MN regulation following the standard of training phases. Finally  we employ Support Vector Machine(SVM) as a classifier to distinguish the current activity in target video sequences. In a word  our proposed algorithm not only outperforms the state of art on public available KTH data set and Weizmann data set  but also proves practical to some real world applications  in addition  this method is computationally simple and able to achieve a satisfactory accuracy.

In order to satisfy to the real-time requirement of image interpretation system in photoelectric measurement equipments  a kind of hardware acceleration system with MIMD distributed multi-processor architecture based on SOPC technology is designed. The particle filter algorithm is proposed to process image interpretation for state estimation problem of nonlinear and non-Gaussian system. This algorithm does not involve conventional linearization transform  and has approximated the posterior probability density by a set of discrete particles. Therefore the approximate optimum result is educed. It has a high accuracy and a rapid convergence. Experimental results show that the algorithm be adequate to real time  accuracy and robustness  meets the requirement of image interpretation and possesses practical significance for engineering applications. 2011 IEEE.

The non-uniformity phenomenon exists in each channel of multi-CCD imaging systems. The factors which lead to the problem are complex. The conventional calibrating algorithms can not consider all of these factors and have poor effects. According to the characters of multi-CCD imaging systems  a non-uniformity correction method based on the scene was proposed by adopting the traditional two-point correction theories. The correction coefficient of each channel image can be calculated via the linear relation between the two neighboring pixel lines in the two-channel images. Compared with the conventional two-point calibration and multi-point calibration methods  contrastive calibrating results were obtained. This method does not need any standard lighted image as reference source  which provides a real time way for calibrating the multi-CCD imaging systems in practical applications. 2010 IEEE.

The novel presents an adaptive reaching law sliding mode controller to slove a class of uncertain systems.The Airborne Opto-Electronic Platform sliding model is employed to represent a class of complex uncertain system. The control is based on reaching law control. Discrete time implementation of the sliding mode control strategy is considered in the paper  since it is more appropriate for practical applications. It is shown that the robustness of the sliding mode control method is constrained by sampling time. Design of the adaptive reaching law based on a discrete expotential reaching law concept is given  which to design a new sliding mode controller based on Lyapunov stability theory. The global asymptotic stability is guaranteed. An example with simulation results is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. 2008 IEEE.
