In order to satisfy requirements of real time and parallel control for the space optical remote sensor and implement the high integration of software  a kind of VxWorks-based multitask software architecture was put forward. Firstly  the technological requirements of optical remote sensor were analyzed in detail and functions and performances of the optical remote sensor were fixed. Task that was based on each function of optical remote sensor was compartmentalized. Then  software architecture of optical remote sensor was designed. Finally  experiments were carried out and results verified the accuracy and feasibility of the software architecture. Test results showed that the software architecture satisfied the requirements of real time and parallel control for the space optical remote sensor  its functions and performances met the system design target perfectly  and the software architecture was applicable to the engineering application of space instrument. 2011 IEEE.

To improve the image processing system of resolution capability and reliability  image processing system in a growing number of multi-sensor model. In this mode  the use of the current main stream single DSP + FPGA hardware architecture for image processing algorithms have already unable to meet the operational requirements of real-time. This paper proposed a new hardware architecture that is the three DSPs based on FPGA. With the traditional master-slave architectures is different  three DSP's external interfaces are connected with FPGA and other peripheral interfaces are connected to the FPGA. In the architecture  DSP is in the same position three and FPGA flow control for data management and other function to achieve. This connection has a strong restructuring and expansion  software development and more flexible. 2011 IEEE.

The applications based on traditional digital cameras have been limited by distance  cost and networking. Gigabit Ethernet is a data transmission standard based on the IEEE 802.3 protocol  brings several benefits to image transmission. In this paper  we compare the main features of Gigabit Ethernet and traditional digital camera interfaces. And  we design a high speed image acquisition system which overcomes these application limitations by allowing cameras to send imaging data over Gigabit Ethernet. In this system  we design a highly efficient  bidirectional conversion device based on FPGA  converts imaging data from a camera to IP packets based on UDP protocol  and sends it to PCs over inexpensive Cat-5 copper LAN cable. At the PC  the Cat-5 cable plugs into a standard Gigabit Ethernet NIC(network interface card)  eliminating the need for a frame grabber. An communications application software is used to acquire the network data  construct and display the image. A simple and efficient acknowledge and resend mechanism was used to guarantee packet delivery. The system architecture and the communication protocol are discussed in details  the experiment and results are presented in this paper. 2010 IEEE.

This paper presents real-time MPEG-4 Simple Profile video compressing based on the DSP processor. The programming framework of video compressing is constructed using TMS320C6416 Microprocessor  the architecture level optimizations are used to improve software pipeline. The system used DSP/BIOS to realize multi-thread scheduling. The whole system realizes high speed transition of a great deal of data. Experimental results show the encoder can realize real-time encoding of 768*576  TDS510 simulator and PC. With growing system complication  multiple structures are constructed in software  instead of single architecture style. As a result  the traditional architecture-based models that have considered only homogeneous software behaviors are not suitable to the complex system. In this paper a heterogeneous architecture-based model is presented. In order to verify the practicability  we apply the model to estimate the system reliability of the astronautics payload communication and monitoring system (APCMS). Multiple structures are constructed in the system  i.e.  sequence  parallel and fault-tolerance. The study results demonstrate that the model is accurate when compared to the actual reliability. Theoretical research must be applied on actual systems to understand their applicability and accuracy. 2008 IEEE.
