Translation motion estimation is the major aspect of video motion compensation
especially in two-dimensional turntable. This paper presents a robust parallel estimation algorithm of translation in video stabilization system. The equivalent model of translation that derived is accorded with small rotation angle comparatively. A parallel algorithm based on grey mapping is used in local motion estimation to shorten the estimation time and improve the computation efficiency. After local motion vectors are calculated
a fast filter can detect the spurious vectors avoiding possible jerks. The suggested translation estimation algorithm has been implemented on NVIDIA GTX 260
the experimental results show that
the average time of the estimation and compensation finished in 16 ms/frame
and stabilize 1k1k pixels sequence gray video up to 60 frames/s. 2010 IEEE.

Two manipulators handling a flexible payload are studied based on adaptive backstepping control theory. Considering the complexity of the dynamic model
the obtained model is divided into a slow subsystem describing the large rigid motion and a fast subsystem expressing the elastic vibration by singular perturbation theory. A cooperative controller is designed based on adaptive backstepping control. The slow subsystem can complete system trajectory tracking performance. The fast subsystem can suppress the elastic vibration of the system. Stability of the system is proved by using Lyapunov stability theory. The validity of the proposed scheme is demonstrated by simulations. 2010 IEEE.

A fast algorithm is proposed to restore the color images
degraded in a deterministic way by motion- blurred
by multichannel combination processing. Based on the color space conversion model
the point spread functions of the image motion on each plane of YUV422 image can be achieved. The U
V plane of YUV422 images are combined to form a new UV plane which has the same size as Y plane. Then
the Y
UV plane are packed into a two dimensional complex array which can be transformed directly by FFT and result a composite frequency spectrum. Wiener filter is applied to filter Y
UV spectrums separated from the composite spectra. On Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) platform
the proposed algorithm can restore a 1024x1024 24-bit motion-blurred color image in 7.95ms
and the PSNR of the restored image is 27.12 which reveals a good restoration performance. 2009 IEEE.

Fuzzy controller was used to resolve the problem of fast tracking and overshoot in electric-driven simulation turntable
for its essence belongs to PD control In this system
the control rules of fuzzy controller were established according to the step dynamic response process
for the speed loop of this system was predigested to be second-orders system. The describing function method was adopted to analyze the stability of the fuzzy control system. It gave the information of stability of system intuitively. The fuzzy controller had been applied in this system successfully. The simulation turntable had no overshooting nearly when its step input signal was close to 90. Experimental results show the implementation method of fuzzy controller is not only simple but also effectual in engineering practice. It also provides an approach of design of fuzzy controller for motion control system. 2008 IEEE.
