This paper introduces an appraisal method of the dynamic interpolation error for the high precision encoder (Lissajou pattern calculation method). When the encoder is rolling
two groups of fine photoelectric signals whose phase difference are /2 can be collected using data collected car. The shape and position deviation can be obtained through the comparison between Lissajou charts and the standard circle. Then dynamic interpolation error can be calculated out directly. This method is immune to the influence of encoder's speed and has no rigid demand to the test circumstances and test devices. The experimental results indicate that this method is feasible and important to the encoder's dynamic interpolation error checking. 2011 IEEE.

A non-linear light-of-sight(LOS) locating compensation algorithm for certain aerial remote sensor is presented in this paper. The LOS locating system is composed of two main components
which are an inertial reference frame to provide coarse LOS locating and a 2-axis Fast Steering Mirror to remove the frame's residual error. The azimuth and elevation of LOS are both affected by the FSM two-degree-of-freedom rotation
which should be dealt with to raise the accuracy of LOS location. This paper extrapolates LOS locating algorithm of FSM by coordinate transformation
and gives corresponding deviation analysis for different LOS poiting angles. It is found that the angle deviation grows rapidly with range of FSM's travel enlarging
so the deviation must be eliminated. Through the data analysis for deviation
a non-linear compensation algorithm is proved effective to reduce the error of LOS significantly. Taking LOS changing in [-3 deg
3 deg] as an example
two analytic expressions are given
and the LOS locating accuracy rises by 34 times compared with non-linear compensation unused
and the cross coupling of LOS loating is 0.08%. 2011 IEEE.

In order to ascertain the effects of main errors of alt-alt photoelectric telescope on measurement accuracy
orientation error is analyzed.For analyzing optical
mechanical and electrical errors from measured target to telescope picture
we construct 7 coordinates such as:the earth's core coordinate
alt-alt coordinate
etc.
carry through 21 times coordinate transformation
form measuring equation with 26 variables. and we utilize Monte Carlo method to calculate the orientation error
analyze the effects of errors upon pointing. The result indicates that the measuring error standard deviation of alt-alt telescope is minimum value about 10? at the zenith zone. and the deviation increases with the rotation angles of longitude and latitude axes. The model and the method not only can analyze and synthesize the main errors
but also provide a reference to the whole design. 2009 SPIE.

In order to obtain three-dimensional observation effect with single satellite borne time delay and integrate charge coupled device (TDI-CCD)
pitching imaging is required. More accurate real-time image motion velocity vector computational model of space camera is also necessary to make the imaging perfect. Imaging motion velocity vector computation model must be set up on image plane at pitching imaging. According to the geometric relationship between the pitching imaging space camera and the Earth's rotation motion
satellite borne TDI CCD pitching imaging motion velocity vector model is derived by mapping the ground speed to the image plane and using coordinate transformation method. The numerical simulation results show that the image velocity model can reduce deviation angle error about 33' and about 30% image motion speed error compared to traditional ground velocity model. 2009 IEEE.

In this paper
a color gamut transformation method which transformed the different color gamut into a same one has been proposed. In the transforming process
the deviation which was arose from the quantization error and the truncation error were existing. If the deviation was out of the color tolerance
the uniformity of the screen color will be deteriorated. Firstly
the color tolerance of vision was calculated by the color-difference formula. Secondly
in the full-color LED display experiments
it was analyzed that the tri -color tolerance values are respectively 2.5
2.8 and 1.3. According to the tri -color tolerance values and the color difference formula
the express of the quantization precision
gray value and the color difference was set up. Finally the gray-scale range of the color uniformity was analyzed by the collected data
it was concluded that the uniformity of the display was satisfied the requirement of the visual when the range of the gray level was [11
14]
and when the range was [1
11]
the value of the color difference was also reduced significantly. 2009 IEEE.

In order to reduce the influence of azimuth effect in multi-position strap-down north seeking system
its cause of formation is studied based on the precession principle of the dynamically tuned gyro. A detecting system
composed by true north prism
two Leica theodolites and benchmark prism fixed in the strap-down north seeking system
was designed to calibrate the azimuth effect. By two steps
many measurements are gone on in every position to eliminate the random error. According to the homologous between the error and the position
a sinusoid is made a fit as compensate curve after the error of twelve positions is measured. Then the azimuth effect of the arbitrary position can be corrected by the curve. The experiment result shows that the seeking north standard deviation is only 11.77 after compensation
which is considerably less than the 87.75 without correction. 2008 IEEE.

North-finding system provides true north azimuth information to all kinds of ground-based equipment. A dynamic automatic north-finder based on the modulation output of fiber optic gyroscope (FOG) is presented in this paper. In this scheme
