In order to connect DSP which has synchronous serial ports to the devices implementing asynchronous communications protocol
a method to implement UART communications based on programmable logic device is proposed in the paper. In the proposed method
the core function of UART is integrated in CPLD with VHDL. Firstly
UART data frame format and operational principle of UART were introduced after reviewing some methods to realize UART. The methods to implement UART transmitter
UART receiver and baudrate generator using VHDL were illustrated in detail. Then pre-simulation and synthesize of VHDL program were executed. Finally
the test with bit error rate was carried out on physical system. Experimental results indicate that 75 percent of the GLB are used by UART
and the bit error rate is less than 109. The experiment was implemented utilizing the RS-422 protocol and the baudrate is 62.5kb/s. The proposed method can satisfy the system requirements of high integration
stabilization
low bit error rate
strong anti-jamming and low cost. 2011 IEEE.

A Strategy of Real-Time Adjusting of Yaw Angle (SRTAYA) of space camera was proposed base on General Image-Quality Equation (GIQE). During space camera imaging
yaw angle which is caused by rotation of the earth and the gesture changing of satellite impacts integral aspect of TDI (Time Delay and Integration) CCD (Charge Couple Device)
so that the image quality degrades. For extending imaging time of space camera and enhancing image quality
yaw angle must be adjusted. The descending value of GIQE reflects the degrading quantity of image quality. The SRTAYA calculated an acceptable augmenting value of yaw angle according with a specific value of GIQE
which the degrading of image quality can't be neglected no longer. The example which actualized a practical orbit of satellite illuminated that the SRTAYA could limit the value of yaw angle less than 318.45". 2009 IEEE.

The radiometric calibration of the Time delay and integration Charge-coupled Device (TDI CCD) imaging system is a necessary part in the manufacturing TDI CCD camera. The radiometric calibration of the TDI CCD remote sensing camera is done in the State Key Laboratory of Applied Optics. The integration sphere is used for simulating different radiance
which is decided by the different sun vertex angle and different reflectivity of the ground. The parameters of the gain and stage of the TDI CCD remote sensing camera are given through the analyzing of outcome of the experiment. The outcomes are used in the practice and the errors are discussed in the end of the experiments.

The synchronization control technique is one of the most key techniques in the laser range gated (LRG) imaging system. Conventional control circuits are composed of discrete components and Medium Scale Integration (MSI) and Small Scale Integration (SSI)
which have bad reliability and poor ability of anti-interference. The idea of using the Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD) to realize the monostable trigger circuit is introduced. On the basis of analyzing the performance requirement to the synchronization control of the laser range gated imaging system
a new synchronization control circuit based on CPLD is presented. The circuit based on CPLD is very compact and flexible and has high reliability and strong ability of anti-interference. The synchronization control circuit based on CPLD can provide a wide selection of gate widths
pulse widths and delays. The synchronization control circuit is successfully used in our experiment and the expected result is obtained.
