Target detection and tracking technology in infrared image is an important part of modern military defense system. Infrared dim-point targets detection and recognition under complex background is a difficulty and important strategic value and challenging research topic. The main objects that carrier-borne infrared vigilance system detected are sea-skimming aircrafts and missiles. Due to the characteristics of wide field of view of vigilance system  the target is usually under the sea clutter. Detection and recognition of the target will be taken great difficulties.There are some traditional point target detection algorithms  such as adaptive background prediction detecting method. When background has dispersion-decreasing structure  the traditional target detection algorithms would be more useful. But when the background has large gray gradient  such as sea-sky-line  sea waves etc.The bigger false-alarm rate will be taken in these local area.It could not obtain satisfactory results. Because dim-point target itself does not have obvious geometry or texture feature  in our opinion  from the perspective of mathematics  the detection of dim-point targets in image is about singular function analysis.And from the perspective image processing analysis  the judgment of isolated singularity in the image is key problem. The foregoing points for dim-point targets detection  its essence is a separation of target and background of different singularity characteristics.The image from infrared sensor usually accompanied by different kinds of noise. These external noises could be caused by the complicated background or from the sensor itself. The noise might affect target detection and tracking. Therefore  the purpose of the image preprocessing is to reduce the effects from noise  also to raise the SNR of image  and to increase the contrast of target and background. According to the low sea-skimming infrared flying small target characteristics  the median filter is used to eliminate noise  improve signal-to-noise ratio  then the multi-point multi-storey vertical Sobel algorithm will be used to detect the sea-sky-line  so that we can segment sea and sky in the image. Finally using centroid tracking method to capture and trace target. To improve the image processing system of resolution capability and reliability  image processing system in a growing number of multi-sensor model. In this mode  the use of the current main stream single DSP + FPGA hardware architecture for image processing algorithms have already unable to meet the operational requirements of real-time. This paper proposed a new hardware architecture that is the three DSPs based on FPGA. With the traditional master-slave architectures is different  three DSP's external interfaces are connected with FPGA and other peripheral interfaces are connected to the FPGA. In the architecture  DSP is in the same position three and FPGA flow control for data management and other function to achieve. This connection has a strong restructuring and expansion  software development and more flexible. 2011 IEEE.

In order to improve the speed of matching algorithm and simplify the processing of existing sub-block coding matching  a new template matching method combined local gray value encoding matching and phase correlation is proposed. Matching process is divided into rough matching and fine matching. Rough matching divides the image into certain size blocks called R-block  sums the gray value of each R-block pixel  encodes the R-block according to the gray value distribution of R-block with the adjacent R-block  and matches by step between the template and each search sub-image. Then  fine matching results are obtained using phase correlation according to initial match parameters. The time complexity of the proposed method is (M2) .The new algorithm is faster than traditional algorithm by two orders of magnitude  and the speed has improved twice compared with existing sub-block coding method. Experiments demonstrate that the new algorithm is robust to the linear transformation of pixel grey value and image noise  and it also has the stability of small-angle rotation. 2009 IEEE.

Displacement estimation is a fundamental problem in Real-time video image processing. It can be typically approached by theories based on features in spatial domain. This paper presents an algorithm which improves the theory for estimating the moving object's displacement in spatial domain by its Fourier transform frequency spectrum. Because of the characters of Fourier transform  the result is based on all the features in the image. Utilizing shift theorem of Fourier transform and auto-registration  the algorithm employs the phase spectrum difference in polar coordinate of two frame images sequence with the moving target1  2. The method needn't transform frequency spectrum to spatial domain after calculation comparing with the traditional algorithm which has to search Direc peak  and it reduces processing time. Since the technique proposed uses all the image information  including all the white noise in the image especially  and it's hard to overcome the aliasing from noises  but the technique can be an effective way to analyze the result in little white noise by the different characters between high and low frequency bands. It can give the displacement of moving target within 1 pixel of accuracy. Experimental evidence of this performance is presented  and the mathematical reasons behind these characteristics are explained in depth. It is proved that the algorithm is fast and simple and can be used in image tracking and video image processing.

Method of grating interferometry was presented for torsion angle measurement  moire fringe generated by two gratings is used in a new field  it breaks through moire fringe's routine application. Measurement principle is described  torsion angle can be gotten by the tilt angle or the width of moire fringe. Different from moire fringe's characteristic information extracting methods in traditional measurement fields  fringe-tilt method and fringe-width method were put forward to extract moire fringe's characteristic information. Fringe-tilt method is on the basis of moire fringe's tilt to acquire torsion angle  uniform formula was built aiming at all positions of two gratings in the coordinates  fringe-width method is on the basis of moire fringe's width to acquire torsion angle  three key problems are given about fringe-width method. Thick  middle and thin moire fringe were collected in experiments and processed by two methods  fringe-width method's result shows that magnitude of boat torsion error is satisfied with that of theoretical precision analysis  and the change rule of torsion error is also same to that of theoretical analysis  the thicker fringe is  the higher precision is  when fringe width arrives to be 1695m  the precision is 1.7"  the thinner fringe is  the lower precision is  when fringe width arrives to be 734.7m  the precision is 6.7". In addition to these  the results of repeatability experiments  sensibility experiments are given. In a word  the measurement principle is right and the precision of fringe processing is also reliable.
