920 nm optically pumped semiconductor vertical external-cavity surface emitting laser (OPS-VECSEL) has an important application in laser display. We constructed and optimized a 920 nm OPS-VECSEL with active region of In0.09Ga0.91As quantum well (QW) system pumped by 808 nm laser diode module. By the finite element method  self-consistent solutions of the semiconductor electronic and optical equations are realized to calculate the characteristics parameters of OPS-VECSEL. The performances of device especially the mode  the threshold and the optical-optical translation efficiency were analyzed by dealing with different number of QWs (1  2 and 3) in one period  QW depth  barrier width  the component and dimension of the non-absorption layer. We chose an improved structure of them. On this basis  we ameliorated the number of QW periods and the simulation showed that in order to obtain high performance device  the choice of the number of QW periods must be cautious. Translation motion estimation is the major aspect of video motion compensation  especially in two-dimensional turntable. This paper presents a robust parallel estimation algorithm of translation in video stabilization system. The equivalent model of translation that derived is accorded with small rotation angle comparatively. A parallel algorithm based on grey mapping is used in local motion estimation to shorten the estimation time and improve the computation efficiency. After local motion vectors are calculated  a fast filter can detect the spurious vectors avoiding possible jerks. The suggested translation estimation algorithm has been implemented on NVIDIA GTX 260  the experimental results show that  the average time of the estimation and compensation finished in 16 ms/frame  and stabilize 1k1k pixels sequence gray video up to 60 frames/s. 2010 IEEE.

Annular subaperture stitching interferometric technology can test large-aperture  and the PV and RMS of residual error of the full aperture phase distribution is 0.027 and 0.0023  high numerical aperture aspheric surfaces with high resolution  the relative error of PV and RMS is -0.53% and -0.31%  respectively. The results conclude that this splicing model and algorithm are accurate and feasible. So it provides another quantitive measurement for test aspheric surfaces especially for large aperture aspheres besides null-compensation.  low cost and high efficiency without auxiliary null optics. In this paper  the basic principle and theory of the stitching method are introduced  the reasonable mathematical model and effective splicing algorithm are established based on simultaneous least-squares method and Zernike polynomial fitting. The translation errors are eliminated from each subaperture through the synthetical optimization stitching mode  it keeps the error from transmitting and accumulating. The numerical simulations have been carried on by this method. As results  the surface map of the full aperture after stitching is consistent to the input surface map  the difference of PV error and RMS error between them is -0.0074 and -0.00052 ( is 632.8nm)  respectively
