A real-time image defogging processing method based on FPGA is proposed to increase low-contrast of the aerial images in foggy vision conditions. According to the high similarity of the contiguous frame histogram in video image
the histogram equalization algorithm is improved to enhance the image contrast. The median filter algorithm is used to eliminate the noise of the image. The experimental results demonstrate that the method can efficiently enhance the contrast
strengthen the detail and clarify definition for the fog-degraded aerial images. The visibility limit of the images has been increased to a time above. Simultaneously the method satisfies the real-time processing requirement of aerial video images
which has direct applications to the problem of poor visibility conditions. 2010 IEEE.

This document introduces flat panel display grayscale control based on Sub-space division to overcome the defects that two common grayscale control methods have. The proposed method controls the loss of luminance in 10.16%
and experiment results indicate that human eyes feeling flicker has been reduced to solve the problem of vision limitation

Partial occlusion is a difficult problem in computer vision since whether the object is changed or occluded is ambiguous
especially when distinguishing it only from the object boundary. In this paper
we proposed a novel idea to solve this problem by taking shape matching as a morphing processing. A mass-spring model is constructed from the point set which is sampled from a template (or reference) object boundary by moving it to a target object which is deformed and/or occluded. From the morphing processing
sufficient information can be obtained and an accurate detection of occlusion is performed. By using of the proposed method
the application scope of occlusion detection is expanded while other method cannot be performed which need color
texture
or motion information. The experiments performed on synthetic and real world images proved the satisfactory performance of the proposed method. 2009 IEEE.

In many computer vision tasks
in order to improve the accuracy and robustness to the noise
wavelet analysis is preferred for the natural multi-resolution property. However
the wavelet representation suffers from the dependency of the starting point of the sampled contour. For overcoming the problem that the wavelet representation depends on the starting point of the sampled contour
the Zernike moments are introduced
and a novel Starting-Point-lndependent wavelet coefficient shape matching algorithm is presented. The proposed matching algorithm firstly gains the object contours
and give the translation and scale invariant object shape representation. The object shape representation is converted to the dyadic wavelet representation by the wavelet transform. And then calculate the Zernike moments of wavelet representation in different scales. With respect to property of rotation invariant of Zernike moments
consider the Zernike moments as the feature vector to calculate the dissimilarity between the object and template image
which overcoming the problem of dependency of starting point. The experimental results have proved the proposed algorithm to be efficient
precise
and robust.

Image segmentation is primary issue in image processing
at the same time it is principal problem in low level vision in computer vision field. It is the key technology to process image analysis
image comprehend and image depict successfully. Aim at measurement of granularity size of nonmetal grain
a new algorithm of image segmentation and parameters calculation for overlapping grain image is studied. The hypostasis of this algorithm is present some new attributes of graph sequence from discrete attribute of graph
consequently achieve that pick up the geometrical characteristics from input graph
and new graph sequence which in favor of image segmentation is recombined. The conception that image edge denoted with "twin-point" is put forward
base on geometrical characters of point
image edge is transformed into serial edge
and on recombined serial image edge
based on direction vector definition of line and some additional restricted conditions
the segmentation twin-points are searched with
thus image segmentation is accomplished. Serial image edge is transformed into twin-point pattern
to realize calculation of area and granularity size of nonmetal grain. The inkling and uncertainty on selection of structure element which base on mathematical morphology are avoided in this algorithm
and image segmentation and parameters calculation are realized without changing grain's self statistical characters.
