This paper presents the design and analysis of an axial flux permanent-magnet (AFPM) machine for nanosatellites application. It is a miniature axial flux surface mounted permanent magnet flywheel motor
using a printed circuit board (PCB) stator winding. The PCB stator has simplified the design and construction and avoids unnecessary space
since size reduction has become one of the most important aspects of flywheel motor design for nanosatellites. The performances of the machine are estimated by combination method of three-dimensional (3D) electromagnetic finite element analysis (FEA) and approximate theoretical analysis. The back EMF and electromagnetic torque are derived. A comparison between the analysis and experimental measurement results of the prototype machine is also presented. Both simulated and experimental results show that the proposed motor would be an acceptable solution for the nanosatellite applications with advantages such as simple structure and low-cost
as multi-layer circuit board production techniques have made the production of printed circuit coils cheaper and easier. 2012 IEEE.

A key problem of attitude determination system is how to locate CMOS cameras and deal with relations among them. In this paper
several kinds of multi-CMOS station mode are introduced. Fundamental principles and classification of station mode directly affect on measurement parameters of system. No matter what mode is designed
the ultimate goal is to extend Effective Viewing Field (EVF)
increase capture ratio of objects and increase measurement precision. Station mode introduced in this paper is made of CMOS cameras
because of low cost
high speed frame frequency and low power consumption
CMOS cameras were putted near from object tested. So sequences of image are legible
which are convenient for analysis of three dimensional(3D) attitude. 2010 IEEE.

A method for small three-dimensional (3D) angle measurement based on auto-collimation and moire fringe is proposed and analyzed. A right-angle prism is used as the indicator of angle change. The inclined plane indicates the pitch and yaw angles and roll angle in indicated by the rib which is the intersection of two right-angle sides. Pitch and yaw angles measurement are implemented by auto-collimation based on reticule and roll angle measurement is measured based on moire fringe. Roll angle measurement is separated from pitch and yaw by using two light sources with different frequencies. Any small change of pitch and roll angles will induce the shift of the reticule image after reflecting by inclined plane. And any small roll angle will induce a change in moire fringe width that is generated by scale grating image which is reflected by the prism and index grating. The math model of this method is built up and error analysis is presented. The theoretical calculation results show that the proposed method is feasible and can achieve high accuracy. 2009 SPIE.
